Gordon Brown Associates Inc. is a 4th generation commercial drywall company in Kent, Wa. The business was originated by Jack A. Brown in Los Angeles, California in 1937. Jack Brown had three sons that were active in the business. Merl, Bill and Gordon.

Gordon Brown would later start Gordon Brown Inc. in Seattle, Washington in the mid 1940's, which he was active in until 1993. In 1993 Gordon Brown Associates Inc. was formed by Gordon's son Richard Brown.

Today Richard is semi retired and his son Jeff Brown and son in law Scott Zerr head up the day to day operations. The fifth generation has recently began working in the business with hopes of becoming the next generation to manage the family business and carry on this historic business name.
