The business was founded in 1937 by Jack A. Brown as a plastering company in Los Angles, California. The keys to his success were simple Professionalism, Quality, Relationships and Excellent Customer Service. Seventy-Five years later Gordon Brown Associates, Inc. still operates by these core values.

In the late-1940's Jack's son Gordon would follow in his father's footsteps and carry on the legacy opening Gordon Brown, Inc. out of Seattle, Washington. Gordon Brown, Inc specialized in acoustic ceilings, plaster, fire proofing, metal studs, drywall and finish taping.

In 1993 the 3rd generation of the company Richard A. Brown would form Gordon Brown Associates, Inc. based out of Kent, Washington. Today Richard is retired from the business leaving behind over 40 years of industry excellence and knowledge to the 4th and 5th generations Jeff and Josh Brown.

Today Business partners Jeff Brown, Josh Brown and Danny Hayes manage day to day operations. Between them they have over 50 years of construction experience.
